Welcome to the Shonen blog!

My name is Ryan, and I’m the founder of Shonen.

Ryan

Shonen began in the city of San Francisco, California. Shonen was made to share the flavors which were beloved during the early 2000’s era in Japan for the people in the United States to experience.

“Shonen” (少年 in Japanese) literally translates to “few years.” The term typically refers to Japanese males between the ages of five and eighteen. More commonly, the term Shonen is used in parallel with mangas and animes in Japan that target this younger teen demographic. Your taste buds will thank your adventurous exploration into the Shonen soda experience.

The original Shonen flavors include: Banana Creme, Orange Creme, and Elderberry Creme.

You can purchase either a 6 or 9 pack of the sodas and we also provide subscription boxes where you can choose to be delivered every 2, 4, or 8 weeks.

We hope you enjoy it.

Love, Shonen.

Ryan
